• GNC represents and defends the interests of co-operatives,
• GNC promotes co-operatives by highlighting the diversity and richness of the co-operative community,
• GNC provides a forum for the various co-operative movements and nurtures thinking on
co-operative issues,
• GNC represents French co-operatives and defends the joint interests of its constitutive parts, both nationally and internationally
• GNC deploys advocacy efforts so that public authorities may provide the co-operative sector with adequate legal and financial tools along with the opportunities it may rightfully expect.
